Written By: Riedell | January 3, 2013

In 10 days, nearly 250 skaters in the women’s, men’s, pairs and ice dance disciplines will compete at the 2013 Canadian Figure Skating Championships. Skaters across senior, junior and novice levels will fight for a place in the 2013 Four Continents Championships, Junior Worlds and World Championships.

Canadian Nationals is organized by Skate Canada, the nation’s figure skating governing body and is held this year from January 13-20 at the Hershey Centre in Mississauga, Ontario.

Look for Riedell skater Kate Charbonneau, who will be competing in the senior women’s events. Good luck, Kate! And don’t forget to stop by the Riedell booth to say hello and snap some pictures to share with us on Twitter and Facebook!

Did you know?
Although the official International Skating Union (ISU) terminology for female skaters in the singles category is ladies, Skate Canada uses women officially.
