6 Figure Skating Championships to Watch Outside of Sochi

Needless to say, there’s never a dull moment in figure skating! Even as the Winter Olympics in Sochi continue to capture audiences across the globe, here at Riedell, we are always looking ahead to the world’s next big figure skating championship event. As reality hits that it will be another four years before those five iconic rings reappear above an icy arena, there’s nothing stopping our skaters from continuing to perform their best all year round.

Prepare for all sorts of major figure skating events over the next few months, because champions don’t stop at Sochi!

• Feb. 26-March 1 (Colorado Springs, CO): 2014 U.S. Synchronized Skating Championships
• March 10-16 (Sofia, Bulgaria): 2014 World Junior Figure Skating Championships
• March 26-30 (Saitama, Japan): 2014 World Figure Skating Championships
• April 3-5 (Courmayeur, Italy): 2014 World Synchronized Skating Championships
