April is a Busy Birthday Month!
April is a popular month for Riedell birthdays! As we celebrate spring weather, we’ll also be celebrating the birthdays of three talented Riedell ice skating stars: Sean Rabbitt, Kiri Baga and Laura Lepistö.
Sean Rabbitt celebrated his birthday on April 8th. He made his senior debut just last year at the 2011 U.S. Championships. To find out more about Sean, check out our February Skater Spotlight. Hope you’re having a blast on your cruise, Sean!
Kiri Baga also has a birthday this month on April 15th. The 2009 Nationals Novice Champ returned to her training grounds of Bloomington, MN after competing at the senior level in this year’s Nationals (and she graced our catalog as cover girl this year!). We look forward to what next year’s competitive season holds for Kiri.
All of us at Riedell wish Laura Lepistö a wonderful birthday on April 25th. The Olympian, 2010 world bronze medalist, 2009 European champion and two-time Finnish champion recently announced her retirement from competitive figure skating.
