Happy Birthday Parker!

Today is Riedell skater Parker Pennington’s birthday! Parker has a long list of accomplishments, both on and off the ice. A talented skater and performer (he is a U.S. National Champion at four competitive levels!) it seems like Parker’s other passion is giving back to others and inspiring young skaters to get on the ice. When he is not performing, he is coordinating ice shows that give back to the community. In 2008, Parker organized the first Skate for Life show which benefits muscular dystrophy research and awareness.  In its first year, Skate for Life raised $20,000 and has continued to be a great success. Most recently, his Skate Dance Dream show in Wooster, Ohio (there is also an upcoming show in New York!) helps to inspire young skaters across the country.
