Joshua Farris Wows Judges at the 2015 Four Continents Championships
The excitement of the 2015 Four Continents Championships has concluded and what a spectacular competition it was! We saw incredible performances from skaters around the world, and we’d like to congratulate everyone who competed.
With that said, we’d also like to give a special congratulations to Riedell skater Joshua Farris as he completed yet another impressive display of talent in a string of very notable performances during the past two months. He took home the silver medal in the Men’s category and dazzled the audience in the process!
But Josh wasn’t the only skater representing Riedell at Four Continents. Check out how the rest of #TeamRiedell fared over the weekend:
Brooklee Han: This Australian Women’s skater performed exceptionally in her Custom 2010 Fusion boot. Coached by Serhii Vaypan, Brooklee has an impressive resume including a spot in the 2014 Winter Olympics as well as a 1st place finish in the 2013 Volvo Open Cup. She is currently attending Wesleyan University in Connecticut.
Haven Denney & Brandon Frazier: The U.S. was well represented in the Pairs category with Haven and Brandon’s 7th place finish. Haven dazzled in her Custom 2010 Fusion boot while Brandon was a force in the 875 Silver Star. Prior to Four Continents, they placed 2nd in both the 2015 U.S. Championships and the 2014 Autumn Classic. They are coached by John Zimmerman and Silvia Fontana.
Paul Poirier & Piper Gilles: This dynamic duo showed off their talent with a 4th place finish in the Dance category. Paul wore a Custom 2010 Fusion boot. The tandem previously placed 2nd in the 2015 Canadian Nationals, 5th in the 2014-15 Grand Prix Final and 2nd in last year’s Four Continents. They represent Canada and are coached by Carol Lane, Juris Razgulajevs, Jon Lane and Roy Bradshaw.
Awesome job, guys! You make Riedell proud!
