Written By: Riedell | September 30, 2009

Our Riedell skaters will be among the 400 athletes from more than 35 countries competing at the 2009 International Skating Union (ISU) Junior Grand Prix (JGP) of Figure Skating Series in Dresden, Germany today through October 4. Competing for the ladies is Kiri Baga, who won novice gold at the 2009 AT&T U.S. Figure Skating Championships. Reigning U.S. novice champions Cassie Andrews and Nicholas Anderson take the ice in pairs. Andrews and Anderson are also the 2006 U.S. juvenile and 2007 U.S. intermediate champions. This is the first JGP event for all three skaters!

The 13th season of the Junior Grand Prix Series will be held at the Freiberger Area. The Series consists of eight international events in a cumulative point-scoring format. Approximately are expected to participate in the event. The top eight point-earners in each of the categories will qualify for the Junior Grand Prix Final December 3-6 in Tokyo, Japan.
