September Figure Skate Boot of the Month: Custom

Written By: Riedell | September 1, 2011

If you could create your dream pair of Riedell figure skate boots, what would they look like? With Riedell’s Custom Boots, our September Boot of the Month, there are many ways you can express your style on the ice. When creating a Custom boot, we start with the stock boot of your choice from our Competitive, Instructional, Recreational and Soft Series lines of PSA-endorsed boots. From there, we work to perfectly fit your foot to the boot by personalizing three boot characteristics to your foot and style:

  1. Color
In addition to traditional white, we have 26 color options (including white) for you to choose from! From pink to camo to teal, it’s easy to find a color that matches your unique style.
  2. Materials
Next, you’ll want to choose the material for your Custom Riedells. We offer traditional leather, suede, leather croc and vegan-friendly Clarino. Heather Mills sported a pair of Custom Clarino Riedells on the TV show, Dancing on Ice!
  3. Size
Custom boots are perfectly sized and shaped to the unique contours of your feet. You can view our complete fitting process here to learn how each part of your foot—from your toes to your heel—are measured to allow for the greatest comfort and stability. When creating a Custom boot, we take into account the exact specifications of your foot to ensure the perfect fit.

With so many options available for our Custom boots, we thought you may want some inspiration before designing your dream boot. Here are a few examples of Custom Riedells handcrafted at our Red Wing, MN facility.
