Parker Pennington Inspires Young Skaters with Skate Dance Dream

Written By: Riedell | April 3, 2014

Riedell skaters have proven to be much more than just figure skaters; they are ambitious dreamers with a lot of determination. A recent example of how hard work and dedication can lead to great results is Riedell skater Parker Pennington’s show, Skate Dance Dream.

Skate Dance Dream is unlike any other skate or dance show. It brings together young and old talent by encouraging hundreds of kids to participate on stage with Olympic, World and National dance and skating stars. Figure skating stars like Riedell’s Sean Rabbitt have participated, as well as finalists from Fox’s “So You Think You Can Dance.”

Parker Pennington, a U.S. Men’s figure skating champion, founded Skate Dance Dream and produced the first show in August 2011. Since then, the show has continued its success, providing unique opportunities for local young skaters and dancers of all levels to learn from the stars!

The next show will take place on April 12 in Mentor, Ohio at the Mentor Ice Arena.

Participate in Skate Dance Dream!

You’re probably wondering how you can be part of the action too! Skate Dance Dream tours across the United States and is always looking for young talent to join the fun. The next opportunity to skate or dance with the stars is on July 19, 2014 in Charleston, S.C. For more information on how you can audition for a spot on the show, visit the Skate Dance Dream website!

Riedell is proud of skaters like Parker for creating fun experiences like this for young skaters. Thanks for everything you do!
