Ice Skate Training: Work on Endurance
A 4-minute free skate can take a lot out of a skater, so endurance is key to a strong program. Be sure to stay strong and concentrate so that you have productive practice sessions. When practicing, always continue to skate after your program is complete. Also, workouts on a stationary bike or treadmill or running outside will be beneficial when you’re not on the ice.
