Ice Skate Training: Work on Flexibility
Skating is demanding on your muscles and joints. Make sure you are properly stretched and that you continually work on flexibility. Doing so helps to lengthen both the muscles and tendons, which in turn allows your limbs a greater range of movement. This is very important in the prevention of muscle and tendon injuries, and it also promotes grace on the ice.
