Your Chance to Skate With Parker Pennington’s Dream Ice Show

Written By: Riedell | June 16, 2011

Riedell skater Parker Pennington, U.S. National Champion at four competitive levels, has long been involved in figure skating ice shows. After twice producing Skate for Life to benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association, Parker is now producing a new ice show he is calling “The Dream Show” which combines figure skating and dancing.

The Dream Show will bring together figure skaters (see the cast so far!), dancers from the hit TV show “So You Think You Can Dance” and aspiring skaters from across Ohio and the nation. The show’s theme is inspiration and Parker says he hopes that this ice show will inspire local skaters and dancers by bringing the stars right to their town. Parker said that performing in the Scott Hamilton & Friends show with his idol, Scott Hamilton, kept him inspired and helped him achieve his skating goals.

Your Chance to Skate with the Stars

One of the exciting aspects of this show is that skaters from around the country will be showcasing their talents alongside their skating idols! Ohio residents take note! Skaters and dancers are invited to audition on Saturday, June 25 at The Cleveland Skating Club. Auditions begin at noon and last until 4:00. If you can’t make it to Cleveland, you can also submit a video of your audition to the show’s website until Friday, July 1.

The Dream Show will be held on Saturday, August 6 at 7:00 pm at Alice Noble Arena in Wooster, Ohio.

Riedell is proud to be involved with this great show, and we’ll post more information in the coming weeks about our sponsorship!
